ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Isra University has organised a free technical training programme for undergraduate youth in collaboration with Punjab Skill Development Fund (PSDF) to make them self-sufficient.

According to an official, the last date for admission in the three months duration courses titled skill for employment (Able Logic Control (PLC), Optical Fibre Cable Splicing) is Dec 31.

The youth from Bahawalpur, Bahawal Nagar, Lodhran, Lahore, Muzaffargarh,  Khanewal, Rahim Yar Khan, Vehari, Faisalabad, Sheikhpura, Chiniot , Sargodha, Gujranwala and Narowal would be imparted the much needed training.

The applicant not over 18 years age, and having passed FA, ICS, FSc, DAE or equivalent qualification should apply for admission.

The students of twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad would be preferred.

Besides imparting free training, books and uniform- the selected students would be paid Rs 1500 per month stipend.

After completion of training, he said the students would be assisted in getting employment or starting their own businesses.

The selected students would also be awarded certificates, he said.
