ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The education institutions throughout the Country will be opened in the first week of September 2020 with strict standard operating procedures (SOPs), it was decided at the Inter-Provincial Education Conference held on Wednesday.

The Inter-Provincial Education Conference was held with the Minister for Federal Education Shafqat Mahmood in the Chair.

The Conference was attended by the Education Ministers of four Provinces, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Gilgit-Baltistan.

It was decided in the meeting that education institutions across the Country will be re-opened in the first week of September with strict SOPs ensuring that the spread of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) remains curtailed.
