MOSOW: A bus carrying children collided with a truck in southern Moscow on Saturday, killing at least 14 persons and injuring 16 others, an Emergencies Ministry spokesperson reports.

Helicopters with medics on board were dispatched to the crash scene.

“The injured will be transported by helicopter to local hospitals,” Emergency Ministry spokesperson Irina Rossius told Itar-Tass.

Thirty ambulance crews are on their way to the site in southern Moscow after bus N1033 collided with a truck carrying roadbase.

The driver of the Kamaz truck was apparently at fault as he did not let the bus pass through the intersection, according to the preliminary investigation.
