ISLAMABAD: The British High Commission on Sunday declined to comment on Altaf Hussain’s remarks regarding Imran Farooq murder probe.

A spokesperson of the British high commission said that Metropolitan Police was investigating the murder case independently.

When contacted by media, the spokesman declined to make any comment on Hussain’s speech.

“It is our policy not to comment about the case of any individual,” the spokesman said, adding that the British government had no connection with the ongoing investigations of the Dr Imran Farooq’s murder.
