ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and his Saudi Counterpart Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Al Saud held a telephonic conversation on Thursday and discussed the promotion of bilateral brotherly relations.

Bilawal Bhutto expressed his gratitude to the Saudi foreign minister for the commitment of Saudi Arabia to make an investment of US$ 1 billion in Pakistan.

Bilawal informed his Saudi Counterpart about the devastation caused by the unusual floods in Pakistan.

The foreign minister also expressed his gratitude to Saudi Arabia for expressing solidarity with Pakistan battling with the worst flood situation. He also appreciated Saudi Arabia’s assurance of taking all possible steps to help flood victims in Pakistan.
