Three militants killed in exchange of fire with security forces: ISPR

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: At least three militants were killed in an exchange of fire with the security forces in Boya area of the North Waziristan tribal region, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Saturday.

The ISPR said that a Pakistan Army’s naib subedar Muzzamil also embraced martyrdom during the clash.

The military’s media wing said that the operation Zarb-e-Azb against the militants continues successfully in North Waziristan.

Senior TTP commander Hassan Rahmallah killed

Meanwhile, in a statement the banned Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesman Shahidullah Shahid said that one of the group’s senior commanders Hassan Rahmallah was killed in a clash with Pakistani security forces in North Waziristan’s Boya area two days ago.

The TTP spokesman said that Hassan had recently been released from an Afghan prison and had reunited with his comrades in Pakistan.
