Political turmoil in Pakistan: Joint Session of parliament set to discuss prevailing situation

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: A joint session of the Parliament is set to be held in Islamabad on Tuesday during which the prevailing political situation in the country will be discussed.

The members of both the Houses will hold threadbare discussion on the situation arising out of the sit-ins of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) in red zone.

They will also give their suggestions for amicable solution of the current political crisis.

The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader and the opposition leader in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah had proposed a joint sitting of the Parliament to discuss the latest situation prevailing in the country.
