RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The outgoing Commander International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) General Joseph Dunford held a meeting with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif at the army’s general headquarters in Rawalpindi on Monday.
The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the two discussed matters of mutual interest including post-election situation in Afghanistan and coordination along the Pak-Afghan border during the meeting.
The COAS particularly thanked the outgoing ISAF Commander for his efforts towards stability in Afghanistan.
