ERBIL, Kurdistan region: The US Secretary of State John Kerry arrived in the Kurdish autonomous region on Tuesday to conduct talks with various Kurdish leadership officials and the formation of an inclusive government.

Kerry met with Kurdistan regional government President Massud Barzani at the Presidential Palace.

Barzani told Kerry that ‘we now have a new reality in Iraq.’ This obviously shows reluctance by the Kurds to place their future in the hands of the central government, CNN said.
