PESHWAWAR: A large number of militants from across the border attacked a Pakistani checkpost on Nao Top near Pak Afghan border in Bajaur agency; however, the security forces retaliated and killed at least 14 militants.
The military officials said that Pakistani troops backed by gunship helicopters effectively responded the attack.
During the gun battle, one soldier also embraced martyrdom and two critically injured, they added.
