Nuclear agreement with world powers very likely by July: Iranian president

SHANGHAI: The Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said on Thursday that an agreement with the six world powers including five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany on its nuclear programme is very likely by July this year.

“It is very likely that we can come to an agreement by the end of July,” Rouhani said while addressing a news conference in Shanghai.

Rouhani said that reaching agreement depends on unspecified countries not be giving a chance to create problems.

The Iranian president said that the deadline could be extended by six months. “We have no rush,” he added.
