Unknown gunmen kill Shia cleric in Peshawar’s Qissa Khawani Bazaar

PESHAWAR: A Shia cleric Allama Alim Al-Musvi was shot dead by unknown gunmen in the Khyber Pukhtunkhwa’s capital Peshawar on Monday, police said.

A local police official Fazal Jan said that the cleric was walking to the mosque from his house in the Qissa Khawani Bazaar in Peshawar on Monday, but two unknown gunmen came, opened fire on him and escaped in the narrow streets, leaving Allama Alim Al-Musvi dead on the spot.
