ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the Central Development Working Party (CDWP) was held in Islamabad on Monday which gave its consent to the ‘Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme’.

The meeting was presided over by Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal.

Under the scheme‚ annually 150‚000 laptops will be distributed to the students of public sector universities securing over 60% marks.

The cost of the project is Rs23.5 billion, while the scheme will be continued for at least 05 years.
