ABBOTTABAD: The Election Tribunal on Friday disqualified Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawmaker in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly, Yousuf Ayub, in the fake degree case.
Ayub was elected as the member of the provincial assembly from PK-50 Haripur 2 on PTI ticket after winning the May 11 general elections.
Following his disqualification, the tribunal ordered the Election Commission of Pakistan to hold by-election in the concerned constituency.
