ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Chauhdry Nisar Ali Khan has issued instructions for formation of a Quick Response Force (QRF) within a week to deal with mishaps like Islamabad standoff caused by Sikandar on 15 of August.

An important meeting was held at the Interior Ministry under federal Interior Minister Ch. Nisar Ali Khan to ponder over prevailing security situation in the country.

Ch. Nisar instructed on the occasion to form a Quick Response Force within a week, comprising capable security men of Islamabad police and rangers to deal with sudden mishaps like Islamabad incident quickly and efficiently.

The Interior Minister issued orders for immediate purchase of two latest stun guns and start of refresher courses for sharp shooters. The meeting gave approval of the Capital Territory Local Government Act-2013.

Ch. Nisar instructed the top officials of the Interior Ministry and police to mount armed patrolling on roads and bazaars of Islamabad to create feelings of security in local public.
