ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has ordered inquiry into Jinnah Avenue incident.

The Prime Minister directed Secretary Interior to conduct inquiry and present the report on Friday.

A spokesman of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences Islamabad (PIMS) has said gunman Sikandar who sustained bullet wounds in yesterday’s operation in Islamabad has been taken off the ventilator.

He said Sikandar is breathing well and in a position to record his statement.
