KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has nominated Senator Raza Rabbani as their candidate for the upcoming presidential elections scheduled for August 6, wishing to gather the support of the other opposition parties in the presidential elections.

At a press briefing at the Chief Minister House in Karachi on Friday, PPP senior leader Makhdoom Amin Fahim announced the party’s decision to nominate Senator Rabbani, saying that the party leadership and workers had supported Rabbani’s nomination and that the party wished to gather the support of the other opposition parties in the presidential elections.

Senator Raza Rabbani, who was also present at the press briefing, requested opposition parties for their support in the upcoming polls.
