SIALKOT: Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif has said the 450 megawatt Nandipur power project will be completed 2014 at a cost of 57 billion rupees.

Talking to media in Sialkot on Sunday‚ he said the government plans to initiate several other power projects as well to overcome the energy crisis and load shedding.

The Minister said transmission and distribution systems will also be modernized across the country.

He warned that the government will deal with the elements involved in electricity and gas theft with iron hand.
