LAHORE, Pakistan: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Candidate from National Assembly Constituency NA-127 Lahore-Xl Atta Tarar has been found in allegedly indulging in vote-buying activities by offering money to voters ahead of February 8 general elections.
A video went viral on social media showing a few men wearing masks were taking oath from women on the Holy Quran to vote for Atta Tarar.
The video clearly showed that six to seven veiled women along with three men were standing around a table with posters of Atta Tarar placed on the wall in the background.
Two men – involved in the malpractice – were asking a woman to take oath on the Quran to vote for Atta Tarar, and when she complied, she was handed over the cash money.
