Middle EastUS warns citizens against Egypt travel after deadly clashes

WASHINGTON: The United States has warned its citizens against traveling to Egypt after at least three people, including a US citizen, died in clashes between supporters and opponents of President Muhammed Morsi in the coastal city of Alexandria.

In Cairo‚ thousands of President’s supporters rallied outside the main mosque.

Clashes also erupted in the Nile Delta provinces of Daqahliya and Beheira.

Morsi’s opponents have called nationwide protests for tomorrow to demand that he step down‚ sparking counter-demonstrations by the Muslim Brotherhood and its allies that have triggered often bloody clashes.
