PoliticsPTI’s Fawad Chaudhry abuses Election Commission in new alleged audio leak

Leaders of former ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf continue to be in arms against the country’s top electoral watchdog, accusing the Election Commission of Pakistan of having a dirty nexus with the ruling alliance.

With strong rhetoric being pushed against Chief Election Commissioner Sultan Raja, and other members of ECP by PTI leaders, the two sides remained the archrivals, hurling serious allegations at each other.

The country’s current political crisis deepens in recent months, sparking a plethora of wild audio leaks that hit the internet purportedly featuring top politicians.

In one such event, former Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry becomes the latest member who falls prey to the audio leaks as a brief audio clip started doing rounds on social platforms.

In the clip, a voice that is said to be of Fawad Chaudhry can be heard asking a journalist to report some ruthless move of the electoral watchdog while he was caught in hot mic.

“Aiday Tay Pe*n Ch*d Ik Story Karo, Any Jeri Election Commission Nai Maa Ch***** Aey”, the PTI leader purportedly told the other man on the phone.

As the clip garnered unwanted attention, the PTI leader has not shared any clarification on his audio clip, while an apparent journalist on the other side of the line remained unknown, till the filing of this story.

Pakistanis have seen a new low in politics in recent days, as several alleged tapes surfaced online revealing informal conversations which were never meant to be heard by the public.
