KARACHI: Paramilitary Rangers on Sunday carried out a large-scale operation in Karachi’s Manghopir neighborhood, arresting over 800 suspects in an action claimed to be biggest ever in city’s history.

Rangers spokesman said over 1000 law-enforcers, including women personnel, are taking part in the ‘targeted’ operation which is being conducted in Kunwari Colony of Manghopir on the outskirts of Karachi.

Officials said over 800 suspected criminal were rounded up by the Rangers during house-to-house search in the locality which is a hub of criminal elements.
