32 more COVID patients succumb to disease in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Further 32 COVID patients succumbed to the disease while 1,541 more people were tested positive in the Country on February 25, according to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).

In the last 24 hours, 15 infected people died in Punjab, 7 each in Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 2 in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), and 1 in Balochistan.

So far, 12,804 people have died of Coronavirus across the Country including 5,323 in Punjab, 4,322 in Sindh, 2,065 in KPK, 496 in ICT, 296 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), 200 in Balochistan, and 102 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

The data compiled by the NCOC showed that 41,849 people were tested on February 25 in the Country, and 1,541 of them turned out to be infected.

To date, 577,482 people have been declared Corona positive across the Pakistan. Of them, 257,408 people have been tested positive in Sindh, 170,222 in Punjab, 71,728 in KPK, 44,032 in Islamabad, 19,035 in Balochistan, 10,101 in AJK, and 4,956 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

The data showed that 542,393 COVID patients have recovered so far across Pakistan whereas 22,285 remain under treatment.
