ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Ministry of Education and Radio Pakistan on Friday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to launch Radio School that will broadcast the educational content for four hours every day.
The Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood, the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz, and the Parliamentary Secretary for Ministry of Education and Professional Training Wajiha Qamar also witnessed the Signing Ceremony.
In a statement, Shafqat Mahmood said that Radio School will be another platform for distance learning besides TeleSchool that was launched in March 2020.
The TeleSchool Channel kicked off its Special Transmission in April 2020 for students having been deprived of attending their educational institutions by the lockdown amid the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
The Channel enabled students to get education while staying at home due to the closure of schools in the wake of Coronavirus.
