ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri met the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Pakistan Ali Alizada in Islamabad on Tuesday.

During the meeting, they exchanged views on further strengthening Pakistan-Azerbaijan bilateral relations and cooperation in various fields.Kashmir dispute - The Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri met the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Pakistan Ali Alizada in Islamabad on Tuesday. They also held a discussion on other issues of mutual interest including the cooperation between the Offices of Foreign Office Spokespersons of both Pakistan and Azerbaijan. The Foreign Office Spokesperson thanked Azerbaijan for its principled position on the Jammu and Kashmir dispute and its continued support in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Contact Group on Kashmir.

They also held a discussion on other issues of mutual interest including the cooperation between the Offices of Foreign Office Spokespersons of both Pakistan and Azerbaijan.

The Foreign Office Spokesperson thanked Azerbaijan for its principled position on the Jammu and Kashmir dispute and its continued support in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Contact Group on Kashmir.

Ambassador Ali Alizada expressed gratitude to Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri for the warm reception and the commitment for further cementing bilateral ties between the two Foreign Offices.
