Coronavirus Cases declining in Pakistan: Shibli Faraz

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz has said that Coronavirus Cases have been declining in Pakistan due to the smart lockdown strategy being implemented across the Country to stem the spread of the pandemic.

While addressing a ceremony in Islamabad on Saturday, the minister thanked and appreciated the general public for joining hands with the government following the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to meet the global pandemic.

The minister said that the government worked hard during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and efforts have been taken to increase testing capacity in the Country. Senator Shibli Faraz said that the number of testing laboratories has been increased to 129 from 2. He added that ventilators are being produced in Pakistan by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
