Pakistan records 4,443 new Coronavirus Cases and 111 deaths

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: More than 12,400 violations of health guidelines & instructions were observed across Pakistan in the last 24 hours, which also witnessed 4,443 new Coronavirus (COVID-19) Cases and 111 deaths, as per the data issued by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on June 16.

The NCOC said that it is being apprised by provinces on smart lockdowns & enforcement measures in various areas basing on Trace, Tests & Quarantine (TTQ) strategy.

During last 24 hours, more than 1,512 markets/shops, 14 industries and 1,466 transports were cautioned/fined/sensitized/sealed.

Similarly, Balochistan has registered 8,327 Coronavirus Cases, 85 deaths, 2,916 recoveries; and ICT has registered 8,857 Coronavirus Cases, 83 deaths, and 2,037 recoveries. In Gilgit-Baltistan, 1,143 people have been infected, 17 have died, and 728 have got recoveries; and in AJK, 663 Cases have so far emerged, 13 patients have lost their lives and 264 have been recovered. As per the NCOC, 8,431 patients are admitted in 820 hospitals with COVID-19 facilities across the Country.

In the last 24 hours, 25,015 tests were conducted throughout the Country to diagnose the Coronavirus, which took the total number of COVID-19 tests conducted till date to 922,665.

So far a total of 148,921 people have been infected by the virus in Pakistan, and 2,839 have died of it.

In Punjab, 55,878 people have been tested positive, 1,081 have passed away and 17,730 have been recovered; in Sindh, 55,581 people have been tested positive, 853 have passed away and 28,023 have been recovered; and in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 18,472 people have been tested positive, 707 have passed away and 4,692 have been recovered.

Similarly, Balochistan has registered 8,327 Coronavirus Cases, 85 deaths, 2,916 recoveries; and ICT has registered 8,857 Coronavirus Cases, 83 deaths, and 2,037 recoveries.

In Gilgit-Baltistan, 1,143 people have been infected, 17 have died, and 728 have got recoveries; and in AJK, 663 Cases have so far emerged, 13 patients have lost their lives and 264 have been recovered.

As per the NCOC, 8,431 patients are admitted in 820 hospitals with COVID-19 facilities across the Country.
