Coronavirus Cases in Pakistan reach 8418, deaths 176

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The number of Coronavirus (COVID-19) infected patients in Pakistan has reached 8,418, of them, 1,970 have recuperated now while 176 have lost their lives.

Throughout the Country, a total of 104,302 tests have been conducted so far for the disease.

Most of the Coronavirus Cases have been detected in Punjab. Of 3,721 patients recorded in the province, 702 have now been recovered whereas 42 have died.

In Sindh, 2,537 Cases have surfaced. Whereas 625 patients have been healed from the disease but 56 have succumbed to it.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province has recorded 1,235 Cases, 267 recoveries and 67 deaths while Balochistan has witnessed 432 Cases, 152 recoveries and 5 deaths.

Likewise, Gilgit-Baltistan has reported 263 Cases, 194 recoveries and 3 deaths, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) has 49 Cases and 10 recoveries.

In Islamabad, 181 persons have so far been tested positive, of them, 20 have been recovered and 3 have passed away.

Meanwhile, in a twitter message on Monday, Prime Minister Imran Khan has once again appealed the nation to adopt precautionary measures against the COVID-19.

The prime minister urged the people to stay home as much as possible during this pandemic.

Imran Khan said that the more people show self-discipline, the easier it will be for us to manage the COVID-19 and ease the lockdown gradually.
