Government of PakistanGovernment allies are united, opposition to face disappointment: Dr Firdous

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that all government allied parties are united under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, and bent upon fulfilling the national agenda of people’s prosperity and development.

In a series of tweets on Tuesday, Dr Firdous said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led incumbent government will protect the national interest on every front with unity and collaboration.

The Special Assistant said that with Imran Khan as the prime minister, the process of ensuring national development will move forward with full force. She said that the initiatives taken by the incumbent government are bearing fruits now internally and externally.

Dr Firdous said that they will take their allies on board, and the process of national development will be taken forward in consultation with them.

Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the happiness of the opposition circles over the emergence of a few ideological differences among the government ranks would be short-lived, and eventually they would suffer disappointment. Their wishes would never turn into a reality, she added.
