ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: JUI Azadi March entered in Islamabad around 0200 hours Friday and still moving towards Peshawar Mor from where procession led JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman would proceed to arena of public meeting at H-9 Islamabad.

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) revised original schedule now plans to hold its Jalsa (Public gathering) on Friday. The government allocated space for the protestors at H-9 Sector and a traffic plan has also been issued by the Islamabad Traffic police to avoid inconvenience to the commuters.

JUI Azadi March entered Islamabad from Peshawar Road (G.T Road), IP Road and 9th Avenue while it original route announced by UI was Peshawar Road, Murree Road, Faizabad and Peshawar Mor.

JUI orginal plan was to hold public meeting on Thursday (October 31) but slow-paced procession which left Lahore yesterday reached Rawalpindi via G.T Road in over 12 hours.

Procession of JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman  would reach venue of public meeting tentatively after one hour (time after filing of this report).

JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman is demanding resignation of Prime Minister Imran Khan claiming that General Elections of 2018 were rigged, it is the same allegation PM Imran Khan leveled against PML-N government after eneral elections of 2013 and then held a march and sit in in Islamabad which lasted for 126 days.
