KARACHI: The Awami National Party (ANP) on Wednesday announced to withdraw its candidates in Sindh in favour of the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP).

The ANP, however, maintained that the exception to the withdrawal would be candidates who are contesting in the megalopolis of Karachi and Hyderabad.

The PPP and ANP were coalition partners in the provinces and in the center during the previous government.
