ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has extended condolences over the departure of senior journalist Rehmat Ali Razi.
In a statement on Saturday, the Department Central Information Secretary PTI Omar Sarfaraz Cheema extended condolence over the sad demise of senior journalist Rehmat Ali Razi and expressed sympathies with the bereaved family.
“Rehmat Ali Razi was one of great columnist and rendered undaunted services for democracy and rule of law”, he said and prayed for the highest ranks in Jannah for the departed soul.
Meanwhile, while commenting on the notice issued to Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) pertaining to the scrutiny of the sources of foreign funding, the Member National Assembly and the Federal Parliamentary Secretary Farrukh Habib said that PPP’s political history is marred with the tales of massive corruption.
Farrukh Habib said that PPP corrupted this Country through their politics and now they are defending their corruption using the same platform.
“Zardari and his sister are behind bars for their financial crimes”, he said adding that PPP’s financial records should be thoroughly investigated to expose their true faces.
“We are hopeful that massive irregularities will come to the light as a result of the investigation.”
