ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Minister of State for Interior Shehryar Afridi on Wednesday reaffirmed the resolve to steer Islamabad police to be recognized as the world’s best force.

In his address at the Passing Out Parade of Lower and Basic Recruits’ Course at Police Lines in Islamabad, the minister said that the government is committed to provide state of the art facilities to law enforcement agencies (LEAs).

Shehryar Afridi said that the nation is proud of its security forces that have rendered matchless sacrifices for the Country.

The state minister said that there is no alternate to the services and sacrifices of our security forces and LEAs.

The minister said that the previous governments used police as for their own vested interests.
