BEIJING, China: Pakistan and China on Saturday signed 15 agreements and memorandum of understandings (MoUs) for cooperation in diverse fields (Pakistan-China agreements).
The Signing Ceremony was witnessed by Prime Minister Imran Khan and his Chinese Counterpart Premier Li Keqiang.
Out of them, one document was related to strategic level talks between the foreign ministers of Pakistan and China.
Likewise, agreements related to poverty alleviation in Pakistan and strengthening of cooperation in agriculture, industrial sectors and technical training were also signed by the two sides.
The two Countries also signed a MoU for cooperation in forestry, earth sciences and transfer of electronics.
In addition, one agreement was signed between Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan and Science Academy of China whilst another was signed between Chinese Academy of Science and Pakistan Metrological Department.
Meanwhile, formal talks were also held between Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Li Keqiang in Beijing at which the entire gamut of bilateral relations was reviewed.

The two leaders assisted by their Cabinet members also held discussions on regional and international matters of mutual interests.
Separately, Prime Minister Imran Khan also visited Monument to the People’s Heroes at Beijing’s Tiananmen Square and laid floral wreaths there.
