ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that restoration of the economy is a top priority of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led new federal government.
While presiding over a PTI’s consultation meeting held at the Chairman Secretariat in Banigala on Thursday, the prime minister said that the nation will witness the change in first 100 days of the government. He said that the PTI manifesto will be implemented in letter and spirit.
The Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, the Finance Minister Asad Umer and the Minister for Human Rights Shireen Mazari among others participated in the meeting.
The prime minister’s visit to Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates (UAE) was also reviewed in the meeting. The participants of the meeting showed their full confidence on the prime minister’s first international visit.
The participants were briefed by the foreign minister regarding the prime minister’s visit.

The finance minister briefed the prime minister regarding steps being taken for the development of the economy. The government’s 100 days plan was also reviewed in the meeting.
Imran Khan arrived back in Pakistan after a brief stay in Abu Dhabi where he met the Crown Prince of the UAE Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Prior to that, the prime minister along with a delegation visited Saudi Arabia wherein he held meetings with the King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and the Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman, and discussed bilateral relationship, the regional and global political situation and the issues confronting Muslim Ummah.
The prime minister also met the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary General Dr Yousef bin Ahmad Al-Othaimeen.
