ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday said a new era of change would begin in Punjab under the supervision of the Chief Minister Sardar Usman Ahmed Buzdar.

Talking to the new Chief Minister Punjab who met him at the Prime Minister’s Office in Islamabad, Imran Khan felicitated Usman Buzdar on being elected as the Chief Minister Punjab.

Imran Khan said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led Punjab government would deliver across the province particularly in backward areas as per promises made with the people. He directed the Chief Minister to carry out development work across Punjab without any discrimination.

The prime minister said the people of Punjab acted upon the voice of Naya Pakistan, and hoped Usman Buzdar would come up to the expectations and fulfill the vision of PTI.

The PTI leader and member of the Punjab Assembly Abdul Aleem Khan was also present in the meeting.

Usman Buzdar was sworn-in as the Punjab’s 20th Chief Minister at the Governor House in Lahore on Monday.
