ISLAMABAD: There would be as many as 40078 polling stations for over 49.2 million voters in Punjab, while there would be 550 polling stations for 6‚ 29000 in Islamabad for May 11 elections, according to the polling scheme issued by the ECP on Friday.

According to details, there would be 40078 polling stations for over 49.2 million voters in Punjab. The number of polling booths would be 108357. There would be 40078 Presiding Officers and 216714 Assistant Presiding Officers.

In Islamabad‚ there would be 550 polling stations for 6‚ 29000.
