ISLAMABAD: The Election commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Friday imposed a ban on appointments and transfers of government officials in Sindh Province after receiving complaints that government officials are being transferred on political grounds, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.
The ECP said prior permission of the commission must be obtained before any appointment or transfer of government servants.
The Commission has informed the Sindh caretaker government accordingly.
