PoliticsInfuriated crowd shouts ‘Imran Khan Murdabad’ in Bannu

Besides the Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan also had to face an embarrassing situation on Sunday when he went to Bannu to address a public gathering but enraged people pelted stones on his convoy and chanted slogans against him.

However, unlike the Bilawal Bhutto’s convoy incident, the news about Imran Khan didn’t surface in mainstream media.

On Sunday, Imran Khan was in Bannu to address a public gathering as part of his campaign for general elections 2018 but as his convoy passed through the infuriated people they chanted anti-Imran Khan slogans saying ‘Imran Khan Murdabad’.

The people also pelted eggs and shoes on Imran Khan’s convoy; however, the Chairman PTI succeeded to flee the scene.

Meanwhile, Bilawal Bhutto also faced the similar situation when the people stopped and pelted stones on his convoy when it passed through Karachi’s Lyari neighbourhood during an election campaign rally.

In a Press Conference in Islamabad today, the PTI Central Information Secretary Fawad Chaudhry condemned pelting of Bilawal Bhutto’s convoy.
