KHARAN, Pakistan: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Saturday said Balochistan would be the richest province in the Country in the near future.

While addressing the ground breaking ceremony in Yakmuch-Kharan road in Balochistan’s Kharan district, the prime minister said before 2013, big projects in Balochistan were suspended but now thousands of kilometers roads had been completed in the province.

The prime minister said the road linked Karachi with the Iranian border was an important project.

Khaqan Abbasi said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was working for the development of the whole Country. He said there was stability in peace in the whole Country and they would try to manage it like that.

The prime minister further said there was democracy in Pakistan and it would remain so. He said Pakistan army had eliminated the terrorism from the Country.

Earlier upon his arrival in Quetta for ground breaking of Yakmach-Kharan road and inauguration of Khuzdar-Shahdadkot Section of M-8 which had been completed at a cost of over Rs 15 billion, the prime minister was received by Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo.

Both projects are part of government’s plan to strengthen road network in the Balochisan province.
