ISLAMABAD: A petition has been moved on Monday in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) challenging the notification that declared former President Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf’s Chak Shahzad farmhouse sub-jail, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.
Advocate Aslam Ghumman has challenged the notification, arguing that any accused facing trial for terror charges could not be kept at the place of his own choice. He said Musharraf should be sent to Rawalpindi Adiala jail, and the notification declaring his residence as Sub-Jail be declared null and void.
