ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Friday expressed disappointment over the sitting government’s vague and fragile policies regarding foreign affairs, defence and national security.

In a meeting Chaired by PTI Chairman and attended by Vice Chairman PTI Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Central Secretary General PTI Jahangir Tareen, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervaiz Khattak and others in Islamabad, the party condemned and expressed serious concerns over the Minister for Foreign Affairs Khawaja Asif’s muzzled response against Pakistan being blamed for training, arming and harboring terrorist.

The PTI criticized the foreign minister’s controversial statement against state policy, and expressed serious concerns over Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi’s endorsement of that statement.PTI lashes out at govt’s vague, fragile policies on national issues

The party also minutely analyzed the proceedings regarding the references filed against Sharif family by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), and also reviewed the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his children’s decision to refuse to present themselves before the accountability court.

The PTI leadership also assessed the reports of segmentation among Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and analyzed future prospects in this regard.

Moreover, the PTI welcomed the decision of the Lahore High Court (LHC) to bring into open the report on Model Town massacre by Justice Ali Baqar Najafi.

The PTI leadership also deliberated in a detailed manner on various aspects of membership and mass mobilization campaign.
