LAHORE, Pakistan: Pakistan vs World XI series also known as Independence Cup is about to start at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore and thousands of people have occupied almost every seat available in Qaddafi Stadium which is also known as Qazzafi Stadium.

Gates have been closed down of Qaddafi Stadium and will be opened after the guests players would leave after playing the cricket that Lahoris are waiting for last eight years.

International Cricket in Lahore died when Sri Lankan team was attacked by terrorists when bus carrying Sri Lankan players were reaching to Qaddafi Stadium and was just 500 yard from Qaddafi Stadium Gate on March 3, 2009.

Entire areas around Qaddafi Stadium is under surveillance and thousands of plain-clothes policemen are present in and around of the Qaddafi Stadium.

Excellent arrangements of security have been ensured and 0ver 10,000 policemen are deputed in three kilometer radius of Qaddafi Stadium. Nobody is allowed to carry any metallic item and gas lighter inside the Qaddafi Stadium.

International players also known as World XI team has already arrived in the Stadium and was welcomed by people with a standing ovation.

Authorities of Lahore ply over 150 special buses for people to reach stadium and one can see thousands of girls and women present in Stadium and most of them chanting slogan of Pakistan Zindabad Long Live Pakistan) . Lahore Zindabad (Long Live Lahore) and Cricket Zindabad (Long Live Cricket).  Presence of large number of girls and women in Qaddafi Stadium is sending a strong message to the world that Pakistan is not a radicalize country but a moderate society where women also enjoy and love cricket.
