EducationOnly two students pass SSC Part-I exam in Jhelum School

JHELUM, Pakistan: As what can be termed as reflection of condition of most of the Government Schools across the Country, only two students managed to pass the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) (Part-I) examination held in 2017 in a state-run school in Jhelum, a district in most populated Punjab Province.

The performance of Ramdial Government High School Jhelum remained awfully shameful as its all Students of SSC Part-I (9th Class) except the two ‘lucky ones’, failed to go through.

As per details according to Daily Pakistan, located near Domail, an adjacent area of Jhelum, Ramdial Government High School lacked all the facilities prerequisite for learning environment.

This resulted in a horrible state of affairs in the area in terms of education, and only two students could succeed in SSC Part-I examination 2017.

Following the pathetic performance by the School, parents of Students registered a strong protest, and demanded the higher authority to take notice of it.

Parents complained that the school wasn’t being run properly, and teachers tended to remain absent in class rooms. They also said that even fans were not available to students in class rooms.

It is pertinent here that all boards across Punjab including Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi which jurisdiction stretches to Jhelum also, announced the SSC Part-I result on August 19.
