Chief of Pakistan Army Gen Qamar Bajwa condemns attack on soldiers near Quetta
Islamabad, Pakistan: Eight soldiers of Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom in a terrorist attack near provincial capital of Baluchistan—Quetta.
Chief of Pakistan Army Gen Qamar Bajwa condemns attack on soldiers and said that resolve of Army against terrorism would not succumb to any challenge.


Attack took place in a town namely Pishin Stop near Quetta on Saturday night in which eight soldiers and seven civilian lost their lives.
Pakistan Army is under constants attacks by terrorists as it is conducting a new operation to flush out terrorists from their hideouts.
Home Minister of Baluchistan Sarfaraz Bugti confirmed that 32 persons were wounded and 15 lost their lives when a suspected suicide blast targeted an Army vehicle.
Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) of Pakistan Armed Forces confirmed that eight security personnel were martyred in the blast.

ISPR statement said that an on-duty security vehicle was targeted in the blast, adding that 10 security officials were also among those injured in the attack.
Latest attack on Pakistan Army by terrorists took just two days before Pakistan is going to celebrate its 70th Independence Day. Pakistan Army has launched several operations during the last three years to defeat terrorists and reclaimed 90% area from terrorists under operation Zarb-e-Azb that was launchein June 2014. Terrorism became a feature of Pakistan since year 2006 when Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) launched its campaign against Pakistan, resulting in the death of over 60,000 civilians and staffers of Pakistan Army.
