RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Indian forces martyred two Civilians including a girl and injured three others when they once gain resorted to unprovoked firing along the Line of Control (LoC), the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).

In a statement issued on Saturday, the ISPR said that Indian army unprovoked firing of small arms and including heavy weapons and mortars along the LoC  in Chirikot and Satwal sector.

The ISPR said that Pakistan army troops effectively responded to Indian unprovoked firing.

“2 Individual embraced shahadat including a girl and 3 citizens were injured,” the ISPR said in its statement.

Sources said that the three persons including two women were killed as a result of Indian firing and shelling. They said that the deceased included 75 year-old Muhammad Sharif from Bhaira village, 35 year-old Kulsoom and 26 year-old Faiza Saleem.

While, according to sources, three Civilians also sustained injuries who included 16 year-old Rizwan Hanif, 14 year-old Faizan Ali and 22 year-old Aniba Jamshed.

The Indian firing and shelling occurred a day after the first martyrdom anniversary of Hizbul Mujahideen Commander Burhan Muzaffar Wani was observed with the renewed pledge to continue his mission till the success of Kashmir liberation struggle.
