ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that Pakistan’s forces are able enough to promptly respond to any kind of threat faced by the motherland.

In a meeting with the Air Chief Marshal Sohail Chief of Air Staff Aman who called on him in Islamabad on Monday, the prime minister praised the professionalism of Pakistan Air Force (PAF).

During the meeting, matters pertaining to PAF developmental strategy and future force goals were also discussed.

The Air Chief briefed the prime minister regarding operational preparedness of Pakistan Air Force particularly the training aspects.

The Federal Minister for Finance Muhammad Ishaq Dar and the Advisor to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz were also present during the meeting.

Separately, the finance minister also held a meeting with the prime minister and discussed political situation of the Country during the meeting.

The matter of Ishaq Dar’s appearance before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) in Panama Case was also discussed
