ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) and Pakistan Railways would arrange special tourism train ‘Sada Salamat Pakistan’ from Rawalpindi to Karachi on the pattern of Azadi Train from December 25.

Managing Director PTDC Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor told APP that the credit goes to Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique to extend cooperation for promotion of tourism industry in the country.

He said that hopefuly the ‘Sada Salamat Pakistan’ train would attract a huge number of people across the country from Rawalpindi to Karachi.

He said that PTDC would establish tourism facilities at all Railways stations to boost tourism sector.

He said that there is a large room for cooperation between these two organizations as tourism and mass transit go side by side.

He said that Railway is safe and affordable mode of transportation.

He said that the present government is committed to promote tourism industry and also restore trust of the foreign tourists.

He said that domestic tourism is boosting and it is good news for the tourism sector.

He said that PTDC would establish more facilities and Tourism Information Centres across the country to facilitate tourists.
