The statement was recorded on September 7, 2016 via video conference from jail but this statement has not become a part of official and judicial record of Rajan gang case.

Tamil social media claims that Ajit Kumar Doval National Security Adviser to Prime Minister Narendra Modi allegedly directed Sanjeev Kumar Agarwal who was the Consular at Indian Embassy in Jakarta to provide Rajan new passport with in the name of “Mohan Kumar”.

Media reports claim that Doval has taken custody of Rajan under his own supervision at Delhi to halt Dehli Police and CBI to inquire Rajan for his criminal acts.
