Government of PakistanPakistan urges United Nations to take notice of Narendra Modi's statements

CHAKRI, Pakistan: Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan Monday urged the United Nations to take serious notice of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s aggressive statements against Pakistan and its leadership.

Talking to newsmen in Chakri, he said that Pakistan would not be cowed down by the Indian threats. The entire nation was united to confront and respond any aggression from the enemy, he added.

He said both the government and the opposition should be on the same platform on national security issues.

The minister said India had been financing and backing terrorist activities in Pakistan.

While pursuing a proactive diplomacy Pakistan should seek help from China, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in order to resolve the Kashmir issue, he added.

Nisar urged the opposition to set aside their protests and join hands with the government to counter enemy’s aggression.
